The Kelapa Cafe is an extremely well-hidden breakfast spot in the Tanjung Rhu Villas Resort, tucked away down side roads and the resort’s own shrouded pathways.
Tray’s menu with European, Pan-Asian and Middle Eastern infusions stands out from the tired scrambled egg wraps and “big American breakfasts” of the other nearby eateries.
If you’re coming here hoping to get a true taste of New Zealand, you’ll find that everything looks and tastes like non-specific white people food.
This would be a good place for cautious tourists to try some classic kopitam fare… or completely wimp out and order a tuna sandwich, whatever.
It’s not the best German eatery in KL nor do they have the most authentic menu, but this place could be a lot worse… or should I say wurst?
Much about this place is an enigma to me, from its bizarre name to the monk-like patience of the guests that are willing to wait for ages just to eat here.
