Afternoon Tea @ STG Ipoh Oldtown
It’s probably sacrilege to eat something other than the famous salted chicken, noodles or biscuits while in Ipoh, but I am all about afternoon tea.
Vintage Coffee & Bread, Ipoh
This would be a good place for cautious tourists to try some classic kopitam fare… or completely wimp out and order a tuna sandwich, whatever.
Weissbrau, Pavilion KL
It’s not the best German eatery in KL nor do they have the most authentic menu, but this place could be a lot worse… or should I say wurst?
Wondermama, 1 Utama Shopping Centre
Wondermama is worth a visit. Especially if you’re in that part of 1 Utama’s old wing and can’t be arsed to walk all the way to that restaurant in the new wing that you want.
VCR Stacks, Mont Kiara
Much about this place is an enigma to me, from its bizarre name to the monk-like patience of the guests that are willing to wait for ages just to eat here.
D’Italiane, Paradigm Mall
D’Italiane is a classy mall restaurant with lots of alcohol on offer for those who need something to forget the five hours of shopping they just did where everything fit terribly.
Cafe Deli by El Meson, 163 Retail Park
BaWangChaJi Snowy White Fresh Milk & Osmanthus Black Tea Review
Despite their visual elegance, BaWangChaJi is priced similarly to other tea shops so you’re not paying more for a fancy printed cup here.
